GOT FACEBOOK?

GOT FACEBOOK?
Okay....so If you don't have facebook then you don't get my daily thoughts on everyday stuff. Some controversial some just plain randoms. I mostly watch/listen to talk shows and then have something to say about it. I get a lot of comments on my thoughts....some people agree...most don't! I try to explain to people that they dint have to agree with me. It's simply my opinion. I received an email from a friend asking to write a blog blurb on my facebook about my random thoughts.

1. I'm not just a mom. I actually wish that I could go back to work. I've done both...and Stay at home mom is the hardest job.
2. I HATE backpack leashes. I don't care, I think they look ridiculous.
3. Sonic has the best ice...don't try to convince me otherwise.....ok, just kidding LOVE me some QT ice!
4. No I didn't vote for Obama...please, that doesn't make me racist.
5. I believe in GOD. I don't understand the power of prayer....I mean the God that I love doesn't care that 10 people pray vs. one million.....I just don't get it!
6. Hello...this isn't Leave it to Beaver.....guys can do dishes and woman can mow the lawn.
7. The secret is out...my kids watch more than 2 hours of TV a day! Get over it....so far they are turning out ok.
8. Even if I do decide to have another kid, stop trying to convince me to have a water birth,a Douala, or even an at home birth. I am very comfortable with a hospital
9. I hate the phrase..."Grass always looks greener on the other side" I mean stop bitching....throw some seed on it...it works....my dad does it every year!!!!
10. I really don't like Halloween. I only celebrate it cause I have small kids and it happens to be my dads birthday. I only dressed up two years as an adult...one right after I turned 21 and the next I was prego with Tylerr...couldn't resist being a pregnant nun!
11. I actually don't like play dates, but I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone.
12. Yes, I do think my kids are cuter than yours. and No, not all babies are cute...sorry!

13.Don't really care if you think its mean of me to call my kids by the order they were born. Better than going through 4 names to get the right one!

14. I don't think its cute that people dress up their dogs...maybe a bandanna or a hat, but sweaters and pants...what the....

15.I am pro choice, i wish preschool prices would just stay the same and if it means protecting my family...I would own a hand gun.

Random Quotes I LOVE

I was reading a random DR.Seuss book to Kennedy before nap time.I have to be honest, not a fan of the books. My tongue gets all messed up and they are so long for kids books. I actually finished the book and at the end of the book on the very back there was a quote, it read....

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”

I love it...Its like the quote of my life. I also realize that this goes the other way as well.I am realizing now the people that come in our lives....family, friends, co-workers,or even neighbors that all these people may have an opinion about Me, Greg or our family. This is fine, but what matters in life for me, is my family.I think that there will be a lot of new things happening in 2011, some new traditions started and lots of laughs to share.

I think I may actually like Dr. Seuss books now!

Childbirth Vs. Wisdom teeth extraction

1. In my case pregnancy last only 38 weeks, the pain of my wisdom teeth only lasted 38 hours!
2. Rather my ass hurt than my mouth, no doubt.
3. At least with pregnancy you can chew on ice.....my most favorite things to do.
4. Both surgery's/procedures require you to open a wide as possible!
5. After giving birth at least you can eat what you want...huge upside.
6. Love the outpatient part of the oral Surgeon.
7. Epidural didn't work, anesthesia did!
8. Both make you bleed...what the hell!
9.At least having a baby the pain is worth the wait,at least you have something to show for.
10. I actually love childbirth hate being pregnant. But, if you asked me I would get my wisdom teeth out again!

I must be getting old!

Went out last night for what has become a monthly adult dinner and drinks. This time we added dancing and bull riding to the menu at Cadillac Ranch. I love this place, its like a good restaurant/bar/club all in one place. I have come to realize in the 5 hour party with friends that I really must be getting old.

1. 30 years old wasn't even the average age, I say 23 was.
2. looking around at the woman....i mean girls in this place,I started to wonder if I ever dressed like a hood rat too?
3. I was probably the only woman with 4 kids from one baby daddy.
4. Riding a bull is not made for ladies with muffin tops. There really should be a sign at the entrance for that!
5. Doesn't matter how much I LOVE to dance,my body did not agree with me the morning after!
6. Thinking being a lesbian has become popular????
7. Speaking of signs , there should be one that also states "Man bags are not going to get you laid"...just saying!
8. Since when does a bar not stock Regular Malibu Rum?
9. Going out with all of these single people around, makes me grateful for having a husband and not having to play the games anymore.
10.I truly realized what great friends that I have, we always have fun together. Plus what wonderful parents I have for watching all 4 rug rats while we can get away!

If being thirty is old......I think I like being old!

Every year....

Every Year I think about a New Years resolution. Maybe curse less, be nicer to people, try not to stress as much...lets be honest...none of the above is actually going to happen. But one thing I always want to do is get back into church. My kids love going and lets face it, after attending church you feel like you are on a high. I know that this isn't the reason why I should attend.

There are still things that I don't understand about church. I don't believe in power of prayer, it really doesn't make sense to me. But most of all I feel like once I go and met people, form a relationship, then see them outside of church.....that's when all HELL breaks lose. This is what turns me away from church.

These good Christian women with their Christian beliefs....  every Sunday morning  and Wednesday evening are preaching to a group of other woman. I think you may know what I am talking about. Its those Women that you just went out with the night before that are dancing on tables and puking in the nearest bush.I do know that Jesus himself drank wine, but I'm not so sure that he drank so much that Mark,Peter or Paul had to hold his hair back for him.

Look, I've dance on my share of tables, and chairs before but, I also am not two faced when in the company of anyone different than me or anyone that would pass judgment on me. I guess I just don't understand people in general that aren't themselves.

I think this year and every year to come, I'm going to teach my kids that they are special in every way. To never be what someone else wants you to be. Be honest with yourself.........if people don't like it...well we know where they can go!
